WATER SAFETY

The water space at Whitlingham Country Park is managed by Norfolk County Council who run Whitlingham Adventure.

Please follow all safety signage and ensure any children or animals you are with are well supervised when near any areas of water.

Swimming is not permitted in our broads unless it is part of an official, supervised group.

If you see safety signs warning of blue-green algae, please do not enter the water. This algae can bloom in our broads at times and is toxic to people and animals. The levels are tested regularly for safety.

If you do come into contact with water while you are enjoying the park, it is always best to wash thoroughly, especially before eating or drinking.
